The new music pick of the week is “Other” by S U R V I V E. For fans of Stranger Things, this is the band that brought you the soundtrack of that show. Two of the four band members were involved in its creation.
Similar to Stranger Things, the song “Other” is electronic, synth-heavy and gives the listener an overall eerie feeling. The sound is old school and reminiscent of the days of VHS tapes; however, they are an up and coming act in the indie electronic scene.
S U R V I V E is currently one of the leading electro-synth bands in Austin, Tx., a city well known for its music acts. This band is for fans of Modern English, The Seeds, and Tangerine Dream.
