Chick Fil A takes too long

For so long, all the people of Findlay had to drive an hour to enjoy the deliciousness of Chick Fil A, and now we have it just ten minutes down the road. Everyone was so excited for the opening day, that’s all I heard in class. Then when the actual day came, the line was out to the street. Its what you would expect the first day, so I was planning on going back a few days later.

A few days later come around and the line is still out to the road. Not only is the line long, but it’s moving at a snail pace. Being in a rush for time, I decided to wait a week and go back.

When I returned to Chick fil a, I came upon the same situation I faced a week ago. The same line out to the road, the same line moving at the slowest pace you can imagine. This time though, I actually waited in the line. Of course, the food was exactly as I expected, amazing and fresh. However, every time I pass the Chick Fil A the line is so long. Every day no matter what time it is, the drive through line is long and the parking lot is packed. This is frustrating because sometimes I just want a quick delicious lunch on my way to class.

I am not the only one who agrees with this, Larissa Herbert, a student at the University of Findlay, shares the same frustrations.

“I was very excited about the new Chick Fil A coming to Findlay, but I feel like I never have time to enjoy it,” said Herbert, “I understand they make the food fresh, but the line is always ridiculous.”

Another student agrees that the line is always long, but she thinks it’s worth the wait.

“Yea I would agree that the wait time is longer than I would like to be, but once I finally get my food it’s definitely worth it,” said Rebecca Tracey.

Despite the long line and slow service, Chick Fil A seems to be a huge hit especially for UF students. Hopefully as we approach their opening time being longer, the line will not be as long, and I can get my chicken sandwich in less than twenty minutes.
