The University of Findlay and Bluffton University announced today the two universities were merging.
In a meeting with staff and faculty this afternoon, President Dr. Katherine Fell said the process is just beginning but they have signed a memorandum of understanding.
Each athletic department will remain in their respective divisions. UF athletes will compete in NCAA DII as the Oilers and Bluffton athletes will continue to compete as NCAA DIII as the Beavers.
