School records were shattered and All-American honors were handed out last week in Indianapolis. For the Findlay Swimming and Diving team, the season ended on a high note.

Janko Radmanovic, a sophomore in the pool for the Oilers earned All-American honors in the fifty-yard freestyle, the 100-yard butterfly, and the 200-yard butterfly. He also set new school records in each of these events.

Jessica Ward, Kaley Holmstrom, Meri Cizmar, and Amanda Stiegel teamed up to earn a ninth place finish in the 200 medley. The team also set a new school record. The same team earned an eighth place finish in the 400 medley, also breaking the school record.

Ward earned an individual All-American honor in the 100-yard backstroke where she finished fourth and broke her own school record. Cizmar finished tenth in the event, also earning All-American honors.

Finally, Cizmar finished eighth in the 200-yard backstroke while Ward finished 13th, both of which were good enough for another set of All-American accolades.

The Oilers finished up with 11 All-American honors among five swimmers. It was a historical year for the program.
