University closing at 3 p.m. Wednesday February 12

Due to the expected winter weather, predicted to begin this evening, the Campus will officially close on Wednesday, February 12, at 3 p.m. 

Please work with your supervisor/ faculty if leaving campus before 3 pm is appropriate.

 All evening activities and in-person classes are canceled.

Please follow the guidelines below.

Fully online classes will continue as scheduled. For in-person EVENING classes, instructors may choose to post videos, notes, or alternate assignments to Canvas. Students are responsible for checking Canvas and email for messages from their instructors. Those responsible for animals at the farms will receive information directly from the farm staff concerning protocols and procedures for animal care during inclement weather. Students can call the farm weather hotline 419-434-4846 to determine if farm classes will be held. The hotline will be updated before classes begin.

Henderson Dining will be open during traditional dinner hours. Simply-to-Go 24/7 will also be available. The Refinery and both Jazzman’s locations will close at 3 p.m. and resume normal business hours on Thursday.

The Student Rec Center will close at 8 pm and will have a delayed opening Thursday, February 13, at 8 am. Intermural activity will be rescheduled.

Any adjustment to the Thursday, February 13, schedule will be communicated by 5:45 am.
