The national search for the next president of the University of Findlay is underway. Heather Ward, vice president of human resources and interim vice president of business affairs at UF sent out notice today that the University published a full eight-page position prospectus outlining the role and qualifications. Applicants have through Jan. 10, 2026 to submit their information. The start date is July 1, 2026.
The next president will be the 18th President for the University after Dr. Katherine Fell who decided to retire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
The information sent out today says The UF “Board of Trustees Chair Chris Ostrander has approved the formation of an Executive Search Committee to guide the process. The committee is comprised of representatives from the Board of Trustees, University Cabinet, faculty, staff, student body, alumni, and members of the First Church of God and Churches of God General Conference, ensuring broad representation from across the University community.”
Once the new president has been hired, the University will look for a new vice president of business affairs.
President Fell announced her retirement on Oct. 17. You can watch as Pulse Media’s Andrea Hoffman sits down with Dr. Fell to talk about her time at UF and the legacy she leaves behind.
