The Ruscilli Family Bookstore, located in the Center for Student Life and College of Business building, serves as a vital hub for academic resources and school spirit. Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the bookstore offers a wide range of college-branded apparel, textbooks and gifts, making it a one-stop shop for students, parents and visitors alike.
Faith Marsicek, UF junior, commonly found in the AMU studying, shares how the bookstore impacts her life.
“When I started here as a freshman my parents bought some clothes,” Marsicek said. “I get my books there regularly as a student, but besides that it is not used in my day-to-day life.”
Caden Ehgotz, a freshman on the track team, commonly uses the bookstore for his daily needs.
“I’ve bought clothes and books there,” Ehgotz said. “My favorite item that I have from there is a grey sweatshirt.”
Katrina, a bookstore employee at the University, started working at Ruscilli Family Bookstore after leaving her job in retail. Although working at Bath and Body Works is much different than working at a college bookstore, Katrina prefers the set 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours to the random hours of retail. She also prefers the similar day-to-day routine over the unsteady surprises when working in retail.
“On an average day, we take orders, mainly for graduation right now,” Katrina said. “We stock and fill storage in the back-room supplies, Wes does the scheduling, and that is pretty much an average day.”
Whether picking up a textbook, grabbing a last-minute birthday gift, or purchasing Findlay gear, the Ruscilli Family Bookstore can help either online or in-person.
