WLFC’s pick of the week is “Connected by Love” by Jack White. Jack White is a singer, songwriter and producer. He is also known for his work as lead singer and guitarist for The White Stripes. “Connected By Love” comes off of his third solo album, Boarding House Reach.
Jack White is embracing an electronic sound on this new album. “Connected by Love” is more modern than any other solo material he has released before. The song is about asking for forgiveness from a past love.
Jack White is similar to artists such as Julian Casablancas, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather and The Kills. If you enjoy listening to deep cut music with a variety of styles mixed together, I recommend listening to Jack White’s new album Boarding House Reach.
