Often when tragedy or natural disaster strike, University of Findlay leaders offer words of encouragement and reassurance.

Vice President for Student Affairs sent this message to the UF community via email Aug. 29.

“Given the ongoing situation in Texas and Louisiana as a result of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey, I would ask that all of us in Oiler Nation keep those impacted in our thoughts and prayers. If you are from an area that has experienced damage from the storm, and you are concerned about family members, please don’t hesitate to contact Student Affairs, the Oiler Success Center, or Counseling Services for support. If you would like to help victims of the storm, please consider making a donation to the American Red Cross at https://www.redcross.org/donate/hurricane-harvey?campname=Harvey&campmedium=aspot. Donations made to the American Red Cross are used to meet the most urgent needs. Thank you for your consideration of this message.”
