The Findlay Oiler Volleyball squad has been pounding the competition as of late, both figuratively and literally. Their .281 hitting percentage is eighth best in the nation and has paced them to a 20-7 record while posting an equally impressive record of 13-3 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

In the latest polls the Oilers were spotted as number five in the Midwest Region and continued to receive votes in the national coaches poll but couldn’t quite climb into the top 25. That could all change after this upcoming week. On Wednesday the Oilers battle the Wheeling Jesuit Cardinals who will come in boasting a 27-3 record. Findlay will then close out the regular season against Lake Erie and Ashland, who is ranked ahead of the Oilers at number three in the Midwest Region. All three of these games will take place in Croy Gymnasium.

Findlay will look to finish out the regular season strong and carry their momentum into the GLIAC tournament, which gets started Nov. 18.
